Shrink Fit Holders

Shrink-fit holders are holders for machining centers, milling machines, etc. that use the difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion to strongly hold a cutting tool. There are 2 types of holders: modular type and integrated type. The modular type allows exchanging the pen tip freely and is easy to manage, lightweight and inexpensive. The integrated type has high rigidity and balance characteristics, and is capable of precision machining and 5-axis machining and suitable for processing walls with large interferences. The shrink-fit holders have ideal accuracy and rigidity for holding cutting tools, but they require shrink fit equipment when used. There are 2 types of shrink fit equipment: hot air type and electromagnetic induction heating type. Check the standard and size for spindle of the machine tool and the size of the cutting tool to be used before selecting and using a shrink-fit holder.
