Oil Gauges (Sensor Specifications)
An oil gauge (sensor specification) is a device that measures the amount of oil in an oil tank or oil pan. There are red circle sign type, single line type, double line type, fountain type and square oil level gauges, and there are two types of installation methods: driving type and screw type. It is usually a stick with a scale that is inserted into an oil tank or oil pan, and the liquid level is measured by the amount of oil on the stick. However, the sensor type detects the amount of oil using a float. The float portion does not use magnetic parts, and some can be used not only with oil but also with oil tanks containing water or cooling oil. Some switches can be switched between normally open contact and normally closed contact, and these can be selected according to the application. The oil gauge needs to be changed periodically.
