Cams, Clasps

A cam and clasp is a locking handle used for cam latch handles. It is used between a handle and a clasp or between a clasp and a screw. A flat handle anti-slip clasp can be opened and closed smoothly even when used on a door where a high load is applied to the clasp. Care must be taken when installing because the left and right shapes are different. A 3-point cam for swing handle is a link-type lock fitting that securely fastens a door at three points. It is used as a set with a rod and swing handle. General-purpose types require the shape to be selected according to the various applications. The main material is cold-rolled steel plate, and the surface is zinc-plated and chromate treated. Zinc plating prevents corrosion of iron, but is weak to rust by moisture.
