Constant Load Springs
A constant-force spring is a spring that maintains a constant pulling and return-force. The spring bends by a predetermined bending ratio, and the load when the spring is linearly extended (return force of the spring) is constant regardless of the spring extension, deflection and stroke. The constant-force spring is usually provided in a set with a part called a drum, or it can be mounted onto a bracket if necessary. The spring is extended when the drum rotates, and after it reaches the maximum load at a certain position, the load no longer changes. A feature of this spring is the ability to store more energy and produce less friction during operation than a regular spring. The property of always operating at constant force is widely utilized in applications such as lifting or lowering devices, winding up large screens and aligning extruding products. Products vary according to their load, lifespan and standards. Select according to the application and operating environment.

Constant Load Flat Coil Spring
MISUMI
[Features]·This is a long plate spring bent at a constant curvature, and the return force (load) generated when it is stretched in a straight line is constant regardless of the stroke. ·Once the maximum load is reached, the load remains constant, no matter how much the stroke is extended. (Maximum output is reached only after the drum has rotated approx. 1/2.)

Constant Force Springs, CR Type
ACCURATE
Constant load / constant torque springs' pull and recoil with a constant force.
These springs differ greatly from 'wire springs, leaf springs, and spiral springs,' etc. Regardless of the stroke amplitude,
the output/torque is always constant.
