Sanders (Electric)
A sander (electric) is an electric tool that polishes wood and metal by vibrating a sanding disk with sandpaper. It can also be used to remove paint and rust. There are various kinds of tools such as orbital sanders, random sanders and delta sanders. Orbital sanders have square sanding disks and are suitable for base treatment before painting and removing wax from flooring. Random sanders have circular sanding disks and can approach grinding operations when used with coarse sandpaper. They are used for base treatment before painting and for removing rust from metal. Delta sanders have triangular sanding disks and can polish small parts such as angles and corners. They are used for polishing and burnishing wood and tiles.
