Tap Wrenches

A tap wrench is a tool for rotating a tap that creates a screw hole. There are various sizes of taps to fit different bolts, and fitting a tap wrench with a tap that matches the bolt size used and turning it allows perfect screw holes to be made. Types include a straight handle type where a tap is directly attached and turned, a T-handle type that can be operated with one hand, and a T-handle ratchet type that incorporates a ratchet mechanism. The straight handle type is suitable for manufacturing screw holes in wide flat surfaces, but it may not be able to be used in narrow or deep parts if the rotating part of the handle is obstructed or the tap cannot reach. In contrast, the T-handle type makes it easy to create screw holes even in deep parts, while the ratchet type allows you to fix the rotation direction so you can work efficiently by repeating the same operation without letting go of the wrench.
