Dies（Screw Types：Taper for Pipe）

[What is a die?]
It is a cutting tool used for male threading. It is also called a thread cutting die, and is used when male threads are manufactured in rod-shaped material, or to correct screw threads. The main types are solid [solid dies: cannot be adjusted in size, but strong and can withstand heavy cutting] and adjustable [round dies with adjustment screw: splits allow size to be adjusted by adjustment screws]. A die handle is used to rotate the dies.
