Pulleys

A pulley is a tool that moves a rope or chain by wrapping it around a disk-shaped sheave and rotating it. It is used to expand power, change direction and transmit power, etc. It is also used to lift heavy objects and as a rope guide when using a winch. There are fixed pulleys with fixed axes, moving pulleys that are not fixed and can move up and down, and double pulleys that use a combination of the two. A snatch block, in which part of the side plate frame opens, is used when attaching wires with processed tips, etc., because it allows ropes to be easily attached and detached.
