Interior Painting Rollers

Interior paint rollers are tools used to spread paint or adhesives evenly over walls and ceilings, and to smooth out wallpaper and flooring materials so that no creases form. Paint rollers are used for different applications depending on the length of nap, width of the roller and thickness of the roller. Nap is available in various lengths and divided into short (8 mm or shorter), medium-length (around 13 mm) and long (20 mm or longer) types, and interior paint rollers are mostly short nap. Materials include mohair, acrylic, polyester and microfiber. On the other hand, compression rollers are made of diverse materials, including sponge, stainless steel, steel and Duracon resin. Different materials are used depending on whether the material to be compressed is soft or hard. Small rollers can also be used to fix flat bicycle tires. Rollers equipped with bearings that make rolling smooth are suited to detailed work as they minimize friction.
