Test Pumps

Test pumps are units used for pressure resistance or leakage tests of lines or tanks for service water, gas or the like. They prevent accidents by verifying safety through inspections done to check for problems with construction. Test pumps come in manual and electric types, along with hybrid types combining the features of each. The size of the equipment for inspection will determine which type to select. Manual test pumps are used when the lines for inspection can be partially filled with water beforehand. The manual type can be pressurized stepwise while looking at the pressure gauge, and is equipped with a tank, which is very convenient and lightweight so that it can be easily moved. Electric test pumps are used when a lot of water needs to be pumped and a power supply is available at the site. Since electric test pumps are driven by a motor, they enable rapid pressurization and support wide-range testing.
