[Features]
· A tapered screw gauge used for inspection of screws (R, Rc, Rp) primarily for mechanical connections that require sealing, newly established by JIS after introduction of the ISO gauge standard.
· The R and PT product screws are identical in terms of their dimensions, but the gauge systems used are different.
· If the pipe or pipe fitting end are within the range of the gauge notch length, it will pass.
· The difference from the conventional pipe taper thread gauge PT is as follows.
· Wear limit of tapered thread ring gauge: Wear limit has been regulated for the tapered thread ring gauge.
· Inspection plug: Wear limit is inspected with the inspection plug for tapered screws (CP).
