Keylocking Inserts (KIC) (KIC1014-SUS)
Able to reinforce screw parts which have a high frequency of bolt attachment/removal, and any base metal screw parts. Can even be utilized for restoring damaged screws.

Mounting And Removal Methods
Mounting Method
Use a drill of the specified size to remove used or damaged screws.
Chamfer (90° to 120°).
Perform standard screw processing.
Screw from 0.5 to 1 mm into the base material of the insert body. For the miniature type, use the KICTLM (dedicated tool) to screw in.
Use the TWM/HDM (attachment tool) to lightly tap the key in several times. For the miniature type, use the KICTLM (dedicated tool) to knock it in.
It is not possible to insert some sizes by hand. Hook a rod into the key section and twist it to insert it easily. However, care is required, as using excess force may cause the key to break.
Removal Method
Use a drill of the specified size and drill to the designated depth.
Fold the key towards the inside to remove it.
Use a bolt removal tool (extractor), etc., to remove the insert.
New inserts of the same size can be be mounted in the existing screw holes. This allows inserts to be replaced multiple times.
