Product Overview

The positioning pin is used for the spatial positioning in the directions of X and Y axes, mainly using the workpiece hole as the positioning benchmark or used in conjunction with bushings, in which the large head flat type is suitable for situations where there is no space on the opposite side or the mating material is thin.

Example of Use

Case Introduction: Positioning Fit of Round and Polygonal Types
(1) The combination of round and polygonal shapes in clamping jigs allows for more accurate positioning in direction A and reduces the spacing error of matching holes in direction B.
(2) Of the two dowel pins, one uses a cylindrical shape as a reference, while the other uses a circular flat (polygonal) shape in the direction of the center distance between the two holes. This not only facilitates installation/removal, but also ensures positioning accuracy.
(3) Two dowels of different heights can be used: insert the taller dowel for preliminary positioning, then insert the shorter dowel for precise positioning.
