Product Feature

Suface treatment comparison:
The black oxide type is cost-effective and can resist corrosion if protective oil is applied regularly.
If it is used in a high-humidity environment or requires less maintenance, it is recommended to use the low-temperature black chrome type.

Method	Chemical conversion on steel surface forming black oxide layer	Electroplating black chrome at low temperature, usually with Ni underlayer.
Surface Quality	Matte black, prone to fading with abrasion.	Deep black, smooth, durable color, high aesthetics.
Coating Thickness	Very thin, ~0.5–1.5 μm, almost no dimensional change.	0.3–2 μm, thicker if Ni underlayer is applied.
Corrosion Resistance	Moderate, depends on oil layer; not suitable for long-term outdoor use.	Very high, withstands humid/salty environments, long coating life.
Advantages	Low cost, fast, no dimensional change, easy to reprocess.	Superior corrosion resistance, hard, durable color, high aesthetics.
Disadvantages	Poor corrosion resistance without maintenance, easy fading.	Complex process, higher cost.

Question: What does "applicable shaft diameter of oil seal" mean?: Answer: The support unit purchased from MISUMI already includes the collar. The collar and the oil seal in the support have been matched, and it can be ignored as long as it is matched with MISUMI ball screw on sale according to the "Ball Screw Applicability Table". However, if it is matched with the ball screw purchased from other companies, please select the type according to shape and size of the shaft end of the screw.
Question: What should I do if the accessories in the support unit are lost or damaged?: Answer: All kinds of accessories can be sold separately, please select according to the MISUMI catalog
Question: Square type support units are divided into standard type and narrow pitch type, what is the difference?: Answer: In the case of limited pitch space, please use the narrow pitch type, but be sure to choose according to the shaft end size of the ball screw. For example: please use standard type (C-TEK) support unit for C-TBSE type ball screw and narrow pitch type (C-TBK) for C-TBSB type ball screw.
