These nuts are used by inserting into materials with square holes. There are also types for installing in round holes and types for installing with dedicated tools.
These are mainly used for racks.

· Satisfactory operational feeling from the spring counterforce, can determine dislocation when the knurled knob part jumps out due to this same counterforce when the door is removed, and improved operability.
· Because the knob portion is fixed on the dislocated position of the door, the knob will not completely be separated from the door which allows for speedy operation.
· Floating nuts can be used to simplify female screw tapping for cases and mount hole punching on the door side.
· Because the panel hole punching consists of angle holes, this will prevent knurled idling that easily occurs when installing on the door.
