Unified screw, Inch screw（Thread Type：Whitworth Coarse Thread (Left)）
[Unified / Imperial / Whitworth Threads]
Products with threads cut in imperial units instead of metric units like those of parts regularly sold in Japan. These standards are commonly used in the US and the UK. These may be used for aircraft and import/export items.
Whitworth screw products originated in England and have threads cut at 55 degrees. Although this thread type has been removed from JIS standards, it is still currently used in buildings, electrical, water, and air conditioning facilities even in Japan.
