Self Tapping Screws, Taptite High Tech Screws（Tip Shape：Rounded End）

[What is a tapping screw?]
It is a screw to be tightened while threading itself against the pilot hole to be tightened. It eliminates the need for tapping, which leads to reduced work costs.
As screws themselves perform threading, the fastening force is high and it does not easily get loosened, but it also has the disadvantage of being difficult to remove.
Types 1, 2 and 3 are available, which are used according to the materials to be tightened.

The cross section of the SUNLOCK screw is non-circular with its three vertices shifting spirally. These two formation features enable smooth screwing with little torque. The female thread is formed with plastic processing, so there are no shavings when cut. In addition, there is a loosening prevention function thanks to the elimination of the gap between the male and female threads due to the post-molding spring-back effect. Plastic processing during molding creates stronger female threads and high retention.
