Dowel Pins, Spring Pins, Stepped Pins（Length：5/8）

It is used as a positioning part. Some brands call it a dowel pin or straight pin, but there is no difference in the standards.
Standards are stipulated in JIS, and products designed according to both the new and old JIS standards are available. MISUMI offers products of both standards, so note the difference in tolerance.

Inch size dowel pin.
Material = SCM445 Equivalent; Hardness = HRC58 to 62
Diametric Tolerance: +0.0001" to +0.0003" (Millimeters: +0.0025 to +0.0076)
Parallel pin type developed for positioning when assembling molds, jigs, etc.
Uses tough chromium molybdenum steel, allowing security with thrust loads as well.
Surface hardness has been increased and been given an even smoother finish to avoid galling while driving in.
