A vertical pipe support is a vertical band fitting that is installed during piping work to prevent the vibration of vertical pipes. These products are mainly made of steel with a treated surface such as an electro-galvanized finish, hot-dip galvanized finish or flexible PVC coating. Stainless steel types without surface treatment are also available. The advantage of vibration-proof type is that the rubber pad equipped on the inner side of the band prevents slipping and falling. The type with a detent makes tightening easy. A system is used whereby a nut is simply tightened to prevent the bolt from falling. In addition, items such as a welded T-bracket, AP fitting or stainless steel battledore bolts may be required to securely install the vertical band. To secure firmly to the wall, select a size according to the distance between the pipe and the wall.
