Welding Flanges（Flange Type：Loose Fit Shape (LJ)）
Weld-on flanges indicate components with projecting rims from the flange connection parts, and are welded directly to the pipes. The flange connection is a type of connection methods used for pipe-to-pipe connection and piping, and is mainly used for high-pressure pipes. The pipes are connected with bolts, providing high sealing degree and the leak-resistant structure. In addition, the flange connection allows for the easy attachment/detachment of the pipes by removing the bolts, being used in places where the pipes should be detached for maintenance. Plate flange, hubbed flange, butt weld type, lap joint flange, etc., are available depending on the structure of the connecting location with the pipes. Materials used are steel, PVC, stainless steel, etc., and an appropriate material can be selected for the application and the field. It is necessary to select the weld-on flange with the standard that meets the pressure, fluid conditions and temperature inside the pipe.
