These easy-to-use connectors feature a rotating actuator, a ZIF structure that makes it easy to insert or extract the FPC and excellent usability in a space-saving package

[Features]
· The original connector type, which is mounted on the surface of the circuit board, has a low profile. The connector height is 1.45 mm when mounted on the circuit board.
· Mainboard drop-down types are mounted on the back of the circuit board. When a circuit board with a thickness of 0.4 mm is used, consistency with the board surface is achieved (mounting height on the back side of the circuit board is 1.0 mm).
· The single-sided lower contact structure ensures that inserting the FPC backwards is safe.
· The FPC insertion direction (conductor side) is the same for both original and circuit board concave types.
· The zero-insertion force structure means that no direct force is applied when the FPC is inserted or extracted, making the product extremely easy to use.
· The cable is held temporarily in place when the FPC is inserted. Rotating the actuator connects the internal contact and holds the FPC in place.
· It is easy to insert or extract the FPC by operating the rotating actuator.
· The included hold-down element prevents the connector from lifting up during soldering and strengthens retention of the connector to the circuit board.
· The structure also prevents the actuator from opening due movement of the FPC.
· The structure supports automatic mounting with a general-purpose mounter. Delivery with embossed taping packaging is available.
· Product conformation enables the automation of continuity checks.

· Connector for connecting cables to boards with a 1.25-mm pitch for circuit connections inside equipment.
・The single-row model is suitable for thinner devices. The 2-row model (staggered array) is suitable for high-density mounting.
・The circuit board side receptacle is a small, low-profile SMT with a mounting height of 1.8 mm (1-row type) and 3.7 mm (2-row type).
・SMT connection: 1-row type – 1.25-mm pitch; 2-row type – 0.625-mm pitch.
・The receptacle prevents the connector from floating during soldering and is equipped with a hold-down to strengthen the retaining force on the connector's circuit board.
・The cable-side plug has a uniform finish and superior workability for discrete wire crimped-type connectors.
・Includes a reverse-insertion prevention key.
・This is a friction-lock type.
· The receptacles can be supplied with embossed taping to support automatic mounting.

FI-R Series

A connector for use with 0.5-mm pitch transmission terminals inside digital equipment.

· Terminal: 0.05 mm
· Connector height: 3.0 mm
Compact design supporting 21, 31, 41, 51 core.
· Excellent mating performance due to a large mating guide on the plug side.
· Excellent circuit board retention strength with fixed soldered parts also on the mating side of the circuit board.
· The differential impedance characteristics are matched to 100 Ω.
· In addition, the ground has been reinforced by modifying the structure of the shell and hold-down.
· A right angle type and a straight type are both available for the circuit board and can be freely selected and used with different circuit board patterns.
· Mechanical lock prevents unsuccessful fitting and disconnection.
