These D-sub connectors are right-angle board-mounted types. Their lock mechanisms are selectable, and they can be combined with any type of D-sub plug.
[Features]
· Has a metal shell and so has a small and lightweight connector.
• They are integrated with RD-type molds and are of simple construction.
• They install directly in parallel to the PCB and mount at high density, making connection to cable plugs extremely convenient.
• The connection and the board mounting areas are metal plated.

Compact, high-density mounted, rectangular multipole rack/panel plug-in connector QR/P. Compact crimp terminals divided into power supply and signal use.
[Features]
· The terminals have smooth insertion and removal feel, and stable contact pressure is achieved by point and blade contact, and there is some flexibility for the width corresponding to the variation in the connector connection length unique to the plug-in connection.
· The terminals are made compact by segregating according to those for power and those for signals.
· The housing internal pinout has pin 12 opposing pin 2 on one side, pins 8, 24 opposing pin 2 on both sides (total: 4 pins), and pin 32 opposing pin 3 on one side (total: 6 pins) with a greater distance of separation from other pins. These terminal pins feature a creepage distance that can adequately withstand high voltages. Therefore, the terminals can be used as power supply terminals.
· Additionally, a flame retardant material (UL9V-0) is used for the insulating material.
· Guide pins are metallic to withstand coupling impact.
· Installation to a panel or rack is achieved via a floating bush. Therefore, insertion and removal do not require the application of excessive force.

Rack And Panel Connector, QR/P8 Series

• Compared to the QR/P4 Series products with the same number of cores, dimensions are decreased by 20% through the use of a rectangular plug-in connection and multipolar rack and panel connector. • A terminal for power supplies with 2 poles on both sides is set up in a reinforced area of the guide pin of the housing.
[Features]
• Compared to conventional QR/P4 Series products with the same number of cores, these models have a small size width approximately 20% narrower.
• By positioning both sides of the 2-pole structure in the reinforced area of the guide pin of the housing, the design uses 5.3-mm pitches for a small size that is also durable enough to withstand high voltage, and can be used for power supplies.
• In addition, terminals for signals are positioned with a 2-mm pitch.
• The terminal for power supplies with 2 poles on both ends features holes that can be used for wire connections with AWG #20 - #24 wires.
• Other terminals for signals have holes that can be used for wire connections with AWG #24 - #28 wires.
· The terminals have stable contact pressure through point and blade contact, and there is some flexibility for the width corresponding to the variation in the connector connection length unique to the plug-in connection.

• Through the utilization of a shared form for male and female terminals, wire connections have improved workability and the terminals themselves have some flexibility.
• For each number of pins, the terminal position inside the housing puts some distance between the other terminals at the 2 opposite pins on both sides (4 pins total), and this distance ensure sufficient durability to withstand high voltage, so these products can be used for power supplies.
• In addition, the insulation is a flame retardant material (UL9V-0).

Construction is divided into main connector unit / cable connection portion. 8, 24 (4 pins for power source) and 40-pin configuration.

・Construction divided into main connector unit / cable connection portion: dividing the main body into main connector unit / cable connection portion parts enables product harness insertion from the back, increasing cable connection harness and set mounting workability.
・Sequence structure: the 40-pin type uses 2 pins for both terminals as a sequence terminal, taking safety into full consideration.
・Power supply compatibility: The 24-pin type incorporates power source terminal type.
・The power supply terminal connection uses MDF6 series 4-pin connectors (3.5-mm pitch, UL and CSA certified). Use of AWG16 ensures a 6A power supply capacity.
・Further, it is also possible to crimp using automated machines.
