A shackle is a hanging fitting that is attached to the tip of a wire rope and used. There are two main shapes: a straight U-shaped type and a round type with a wide U-shaped bottom. Among the straight type, the long shackle with a long and narrow shape is suitable for lifting sheet piles, etc., because it is easy to hook. The round type features a round shape that makes it difficult for the ropes to overlap with each other even if two wire ropes are used. There is also a long-eye type shackle that can be used in combination. The structure that prevents unnecessary rotation of the suspended load allows smooth unloading.
