Glass Equipment / Apparatus（Material：Borosilicate Glass）
Glass equipment is used for a variety of applications, such as in chemical experiments. Borosilicate glass, which has a high heat resistance and corrosion resistance, is often used as the material it is made of. Flasks types include round bottom flasks with round bottoms and conically shaped Erlenmeyer flasks, and some products are made of resin. Pear-shaped flasks have a shape with few square parts and are convenient for removing substances that harden in or become resinous in the flask. There are also multiple neck flasks with multiple openings and separable flasks used with separable covers secured by a clamp. Flask openings are narrow, so it is convenient to use a funnel to put liquids in. Funnels are also used for filtering, and Büchner type funnels are types with a perforated plate attached used in reduced-pressure filtration. There are various other equipment such as vacuum traps and separatory funnels.
