Brooms and dustpans are cleaning equipment that sweep and collect trash, dust, and scattered materials. There are various types of brooms, such as a swivel broom with a long horizontal brush and a long handle, a long broom with a stiffer vertically long brush and a compact handy broom. There are two types for handles and brushes: those made of natural materials such as bamboo and fern, and those made of chemical materials such as plastic, and they can be selected depending on the application. Dustpans include a dustpan with a short handle, a 3-handled dustpan whose pan has handles on its left, right and back and a upright dustpan with a lid which can open/close during cleaning. Many are made of plastic or metal, and some can stand upright and some have a broom clip. Some brooms and dustpans can be used even if they get wet, and some have been processed to prevent them from getting dusty, and they may be sold as a set.
