Wiremolds

Cable raceways are components that protect both indoor and outdoor wiring, such as VVF cables wired along the walls, ceiling or floor, communications cables, etc. They are usually made of aluminum, rigid ABS or PVC, and materials are selected depending on strength and size requirements for where the cable raceways are used and to match the color of walls, etc., where they will be installed. Raceways are cut to desired length using raceway cutters before installing. There are various ways of fixing raceways to mounting surfaces, including using nails or screws, adhesive tapes on surfaces where holes cannot be drilled, etc. Additionally, corner raceways for wiring corners and raceway ducts that allow individual wires to be pulled from the wall edge can be used for cable protection in places where straight raceways alone will not be sufficient.
