Square Connectors（Allowable Voltage：AC350）

Rectangular connectors are designed with a rectangular interface. They are frequently used in products such as discrete wire IDC connectors for terminating multiple discrete wires and D-sub connectors used in office appliance and computer interfaces. The connectors are usually used in sets that comprise the male (pin connector) end with exposed terminals and female (socket connector) end where the pin is inserted. The connectors come in either straight types that mount perpendicular to the circuit board or right angle types that mount horizontally to the circuit board. Wire termination methods include soldered, crimped, IDC, screw-mount, etc., and are different for each connector.

· The terminal contact portion is gold-plated, the circuit board mounting side is gold flash/tin-plated, and it excels at effectively reducing metal.
· Affixed perpendicularly on a printed circuit board for high-density mounting, and highly useful for connecting to cable plugs.

A solder connection type D-sub connector. Terminal connection portion has a solder cup for the easy attachment of every cable type.

· Small and lightweight connector due to metal shell.
· The solder attachment side has a solder cup construction for easy soldering. It is also optimal for wires up to a maximum size of AWG#20.
· The insulation material is heat/chemical resistant and uses the excellent PBT resin (UL94V-O) containing glass.
· CTF, CTH, and other plug case types can be used. Straight dip (SD type), right angle dip (RD type), and ribbon pressure (FD type) connections can be used.

Right Angle Type Connector RD*D Series

These D-sub connectors are right-angle board-mounted types. Their lock mechanisms are selectable, and they can be combined with any type of D-sub plug.

· Connector mounting can be performed on the chassis, front or back, or one of the sides.
· The attaching and detaching of the terminals is done by pressing the retainer sideways. Therefore, no special extraction tool is required.
