Fans (optional parts and accessories) are equipment and components used to cool down heat generated by devices. Fans use forced convection to cool heat such as radiant heat from electromagnetic waves, heat that directly transfers to parts and casings, heat emissions from surfaces to the ambient air, heat vented into outside air, etc. Auxiliary and optional parts include controllers for automatic controls and remote operation, filters that prevent the intrusion of foreign objects into the fan blades, finger guards to protect fingers from being caught in the fan, and more. Fans come in 2 types, AC fans that operate on alternating current and DC fans that operate on direct current, and optional parts need to be selected accordingly.
