Louvers
Louvers are vents for the natural or forced ventilation from the panel interior that house electronic devices easily affected by heat. They are made of metal or resin material and feature slanted plates that are arranged side by side so that air ventilates through the gaps. Louvers should be selected for their function by panel location (indoor/outdoor) and shape. Hoods prevent rain water or wind from blowing inside. Stainless steel screens prevent insects from entering. Dust-proof filters vary in dust-proof rating depending on material. Filters are replaceable, and some products are available with washable filters or include replacement filters. For panel interiors that reach high temperatures, louvers with exhaust fans are available for temperature control by forced ventilation.
