The output of the unit is differential output, open collector output, etc. There are various types such as a type that controls two axes simultaneously or independently, a type that can control up to 64 axes with one unit, etc. Multi-axis control is also possible by connecting additional units, but care must be taken that adding units is limited to the current consumption range of the power supply unit. Each positioning unit has various additional functions such as correction function, home return function, synchronous encoder operation function, etc. There is some errors in the control, but it can be improved by the correction function. The homing function is effective when an intermediate stop occurs due to equipment failure, the current position cannot be determined, etc.
