A crusher that utilizes the embrittlement of plastics due to freezing.
Materials are crushed with liquid nitrogen in a freezer cup.
Biosamples, plastics and wood chips can be crushed into fine powder.
Since the material is crushed in a frozen state together with liquid nitrogen, deterioration (oxidation) of the crushed material can be prevented and the crushing capacity can be improved.
