[Features]
· Can be used like an end mill for machining materials from an un-machined state.
· Capable of ramping machining (α = 3°).
· Standard positive inserts of various manufacturers are mountable.
· Capable of high speed machining because of the 3-flute/4-flute design.
· Costs for replacement inserts are reduced because lathe inserts from a variety of manufactures can be used.
· The high rigidity body design and 3-face restraint ensure it holds the inserts firmly.
· The insert allows for chamfering up to C7. (depends on the insert cutting edge.)
· Change the insert material or machining conditions for use with different types of work material.
