• Application

  Siliconite is employed for a wide range of uses in electric furnaces with normal furnace temperatures in the range of 800-1,800°C. Used in metalworking for quenching, tempering, refining, heat processing of non-ferrous metal, powder metal sintering, and brazing and other processes in an atmosphere reduction range of common steel, special steel, stainless steel and other metals. It is also used in a variety of other fields, such as electronics, ceramics and chemical industries or for test research. It can also be specially used in a temperatures of 500°C or less using silicon carbide infrared rays.
