Can pass and sample water using just the pressure of the water supply. In addition to activated charcoal and ion exchange resin, an 0.1 um hollow fiber filter is included to enable collection of deionized water with superior anti-bacterial and particulate removal properties. As a hand shower, it can be used for instrument cleaning in addition to the standard water sampling method. The lamp will indicate if the purity (conductivity) of the pure water drops. It is easy to replace the resin as the front/top/right faces all open.
