Features outstanding heat resistance and can be autoclaved and used repeatedly. Moisture evaporation speed is less than half that of cotton plugs, so heteropycnosis and pH variation of the culture solution are low. Features excellent chemical resistance, and allows hot-water washing and disinfectant use. Bacteria cannot breed on the parts sealed to the container because it is hydrophobic.
