・ A method in which multiple bits are transmitted in sequence using a single line does not cause signal misalignment between data lines
・ Since Serial ATA is a serial transmission method, the number of signal lines is greatly reduced and there is no need to set jumper pins
・ Drive and mother can be connected one-to-one (There is no distinction between master and slave)
