Development story
It is an interface standard of industrial CCD cameras and frame grabber, which was established by more than 10 western MachineVision-related companies, released in October 2000.
High-speed image signals, CCD camera control signals and communication signals can be transmitted with a single connector or cable. The purpose of the standard is to unify various interfaces of multiple companies to improve parts availability and reduce costs of parts and development.
