D-Sub Connector (Ribbon Cable Insulation Displacement Connection Type) FD Series (FDA-15PF(05))

A ribbon/cable pressure connection type D-sub connector. As a 1.27-mm pitch ribbon cable is optimal, it can be used in combination with other connectors.

[Features]
· Has a metal shell and so is small and lightweight.
· Connector mounting can be performed on the chassis, front or back, or one of the sides.
· The structure uses a piece of metal to secure the ribbon cable holding plate and is thus able to provide a strong securing force to secure the cable reliably.
· As the cable pitch at the pressure attachment site is a standard 1.27 mm, a normal ribbon cable can be easily connected.
· The purpose of pressure connections is the ability to make easy connections with the same purpose as other ribbon cable connectors.
· A connection press can also be used.
