MBKW Series Air Cylinder, Non-Rotating Rod Type, Double Acting, Double Rod (MDBKWL100-45Z-A54)
A lightweight air cylinder made lighter by up to 10% by changing the cover shape.

· Suitable mounting brackets can be selected for the installation conditions.
· Improved mounting freedom.
· Non-rotating type (MBKW) or type with auto switch (MDBKW).
· RoHS compliant.
· Port thread types: Rc, NPT, G.
· Bore size: 32 mm / 40 mm / 50 mm / 63 mm / 80 mm / 100 mm.
· Mounting: basic, axial foot, flange, center trunnion.
*Mounting brackets other than center trunnion are shipped together.

- Question: What do we need to know about the MB Series air and rubber cushions?

Answer:
When the piston collides with the cover and stops at the cylinder stroke end, if the speed and load weight applied to the piston rod are high,
impact (vibration and noise) will occur.
If this impact is repeated, it will affect the durability of the cylinder and the machine.
To absorb the impact generated at the stroke end, the following two cushion mechanisms are available, according to the purpose.
・ Rubber cushion: Urethane rubber is used to mitigate the impact noise. (Low cushioning effect)
・ Air cushion: Raises the back pressure just before the stroke end, absorbing impact. (Cushioning effect) - Question: Is it possible to use the MB series with an auto switch attached to the MB cylinder without a magnet later?

Answer:
Only the MDB type with a magnet built into the piston part can be used with an autoswitch (magnetic proximity switch).
Note) Magnets alone are not shipped as parts.
