HMS Type Peripheral Metal Oil Seal Spring

The seal width has been reduced making it compact while retaining the sealing performance.
It is useful for lightweight/compact machines and resource saving.

Uses a wire contact lip method with the appropriate tension force.
Demonstrates a high sealing performance at low torque without loss of conformability/eccentricity resistance.
3. Rubber material with a high self-lubricating performance, low heat generation, and long life
The rubber oil seal material has a high self-lubricating performance—that is based on many years of research and testing—and suppresses chemical change, such as hardening, softening, and aging.
Superior durability demonstrating long-life with low heat generation—even at high peripheral speeds.
4. High sealability and long life due to hydrodynamic rib
(Perfect seal, helix seal, and super helix seal)
The sealing performance and service life of the oil seal have been dramatically improved by the special spiral thread (hydro dynamic rib) that is provided in one or both directions.
