Offers superior corrosion resistance and resistance to pitting corrosion when compared to normal stainless steel.
[Features]
· 254 SMO®, made with high-quality austenitic stainless steel (EN 1.4547), has superior mechanical strength and rust resistance compared to most other austenitic stainless steels.
· This material contains high amount of chrome, nickel, molybdenum, and nitrogen, delivering resistance to hole corrosion and gap corrosion.
· Nord-Lock 254 SMO® washers are designed for environments containing high levels of chloride and aqueous salt solution that EN 1.4404 stainless steel washers cannot handle.
