Question: Is it possible to change the orientation of the magnet part of the GLS during installation?
Answer: The magnet part can be rotated 90° or 180° without any issues.
Question: Can the GLS be used with AC (alternating current)?
Answer: For the switch part, please consider the combination of GLS-S1-1 *1 and the magnet part GLS-M1.
There is no set format available.
Question: Is there any problem with installing the GLS on ferromagnetic materials like iron?
Answer: If the GLS is mounted using a base made of ferromagnetic materials like iron, the detection distance may be shortened by about 20%. Additionally, if the mounting base (ferromagnetic material) becomes magnetized, it may cause malfunction such as failure to reset.
It is recommended to use a non-magnetic material like aluminum for the mounting base.
Question: Are there b-contact or c-contact types available for GLS output?
Answer: No, there are no b-contact or c-contact types available.
The output for GLS is only a-contact.
