Frequently asked question (FAQ)

Question: What are the reasons why the contacts do not operate after the relay is energized?
Answer: 1. Excessive voltage applied to the relay coil causes the coil to break. 2. Insufficient voltage applied to the relay coil causes the relay to fail to operate. 3. The voltage applied to the coil does not reach the minimum operating voltage (≥ 18 V DC). 4. Due to operation of heavy load equipment or use of long-distance wiring, the circuit voltage may drop and fail to reach the minimum operating voltage. 5. Due to excessively high ambient temperatures, the resistance of the relay coil increases, causing the operating voltage required to drive the relay to rise. As a result, the originally applied rated voltage is no longer sufficient to operate the relay.
Question: Why do the contacts operate after the relay is energized, but the operation indicator does not light up?
Answer: The leads of the LED may break due to vibration, impact, or similar reasons.
