Product Overview
 
Rack is often used together with gears and is a type of mechanical component used for transmission. Allows rotational displacement to be transmitted linearly, and linear displacement to be transmitted rotationally.
Gear rack drive mechanisms can be used in elevators, rail systems, automotive steering systems, machine tools, and actuator feed mechanisms, among other fields.

Cut according to the length of the effective number of teeth (tooth root)Cut from the reference surface to the specified length, excluding the teeth.

■ Rack Connection Method
The end face machining accuracy of MISUMI racks is less than the pitch.
Therefore, please leave a gap between the two racks as shown in the diagram below, and connect them after adjusting the pitch using a combination rack (racks with the same module).

Example of Use
 
Reference Cases for Gear and Rack Combination
Equipment Name: n-speed Mechanism
Feature 1:The use of fixed and movable racks in combination with large and small gears doubles the cylinder stroke distance.
Feature 2:After setting the ratio of the small gear to the large gear to 1:n, the stroke can be converted to n times.
Feature 3:By placing the moving base side gear on the centerline of the cylinder and symmetrically arranging the fixed rack side gears on both sides, force deviation can be eliminated.
Feature 4:Install the lower rack (custom-sized holes) or add/remove shims to adjust the position of the rack and pinion.
