Locating Pin Large Head, Spherical Tip, Selectable Tolerance, Press-Fit Type

Product Overview
 
The positioning pin is used for the spatial positioning in the directions of X and Y axes, mainly using the workpiece hole as the positioning benchmark or used in conjunction with bushings, in which the large head spherical type is easy to install, and the spherical part ensures smooth positioning and protects the workpiece. A wide range of tolerances are available to meet design requirements.

Usage outline of spherical type locating pins Locating PinsFeature 1: Standard type with spherical head. Press-fit and guide sections can specify shaft diameter tolerances: m7, p7, g7, h7, 0/-0.02, +0.005/0, 0/-0.005.
Feature 2: Multiple installation methods are available, including press-fit, internal thread, and external thread types.
Feature 3: Optional Material: Iron (alloy tool steel or bearing steel); Stainless Steel (austenitic stainless steel, martensitic stainless steel), suitable for positioning of a variety of workpieces.
Feature 4: Hard chrome plated surface, effectively ensuring surface hardness and antirust.
Feature 5: The lead-in part of the sphere can make the workpiece lead in by sliding sideways, without damage.

(3) Reference Values for Thread Installation Torque The tightening torque (reference value) is technical data for the Thread Torque tightening torque strength classification (8.8), with the tightened state maintained for more than 24 hours. Not applicable when using a relaxant or spring washer.

   (1) The outer frame of the plastic has some areas with relatively thin wall thickness. When positioning on the tooling plate, it is easy for the frame to rub against the positioning parts, which can cause scratches, deformation, or even breakage of the product.
(2) The spherical shape of the spherical positioning pin allows the circuit frame to slide smoothly into the designated position without damaging the product.
(3) The plastic frame products contain glass fiber, and the spherical positioning pins with hard chrome plating ensure excellent wear resistance and extend service life.
