<How to use of Keyless Bushing (Fastening Fittings)>
① When applying lubricant, wipe off any dust on the shaft surface and apply a layer of lubricant or grease. ※Do not use lubricants or grease containing molybdenum-based antifriction agents.
② Positioning Assemble the elastic sleeve and coupling part and insert them into the shaft for positioning.
③ When tightening the bolt, use a torque wrench to tighten the locking bolt diagonally.
First tighten the bolt lightly (1/2 of the specified tightening torque) and then tighten to the specified tightening torque.
④ Finally, tighten the bolts in order in the circumferential direction with the specified tightening torque.

Caution of Keyless Bushing (Fastening Fittings)
① The inner bushing (main body) and outer bushing (ring, side ring) of the elastic sleeve may vibrate slightly during transportation, and the tapered parts may become wedged together.
When installing, first loosen the bolts and nuts, disassemble the main body, then loosen the wedge on the tapered surface and assemble.
② Tightening the bolt before installing it in the wheel hole or inserting it into the shaft will cause deformation of the shrink sleeve and make it unusable.
③ Be sure to use the attached bolt for the locking bolt.

Please weigh the weight based on the assembly space.
Step ② Check material and surface treatment
Misumi’s shrink sleeves allow you to select the material and surface treatment. It is recommended to use electroless nickel plating or stainless steel in places where there is humidity, condensation or a large amount of water. Please note that the provided material and surface treatment vary with product series.
Step ③ Confirm the allowable input load of the economy series keyless bushing
Calculate the torque and load applied on the economy series keyless bushing, and confirm whether they are lower than the allowable values set for each product series.
·Input torque value of keyless bushing < Max. allowable torque of keyless bushing
·Axial load applied on the economy series keyless bushing < Allowable axial load of economy series keyless bushing
Note When the shaft or wheel hole has keyways, it can be used if the groove width falls in the range of JIS specifications, but the allowable torque and allowable axial load will decrease by 15~20％.
