♢ Knob plunger is also known as indexing pin or indexing plunger. The pin can be pulled out or inserted by the operation knob for easy and fast positioning and for fixing mechanical elements of the workpiece.
Suitable for fixture indexing, positioning, stop limit and other occasions.

Product Features

♢ The Economy series knob plunger has been domestic, which greatly reduces the cost, and is up to 85% OFF compared to MISUMI similar existing products.
♢ This series is standard embedded precision knob plungers with the spherical option available for the pin front, Ph7 tolerance and tighter installation. The thread is divided into fine thread and coarse thread. The front end of the pin is spherical, and there are two options for light load and heavy load.
♢ The operation method is generally divided into two types: return and self-locking type.

· MISUMI's economical knob plungers come in a wide variety, with 7 series and 232 specifications fully meeting the needs of the FA industry. All items are in stock and can be shipped in 1 day. Also available in simple and compact models made entirely of stainless steel

Usage Method

How to operate the return type and self-locking type
Return type
1. The front end is usually protruding.
2. The front end retracts when the knob is pulled out.
3. If the knob is released, the front end will return to the protruding state through the action of the built-in spring force.

• Self-locking type
1.The front end is usually protruding.
2. The front end retracts when the knob is pulled out.
3. If the front end is rotated by 90° while maintaining the pull-out state, the retraction state of the front end can be locked.
4. To release the locked state, simply rotate 90° while maintaining the pulled-out state.
5. If the knob is released, the front end will return to the protruding state through the action of the built-in spring force.

Question: Can the knob plunger withstand radial force?: Answer: The knob plunger is not recommended to bear radial cutting force, as it is prone to product damage and fracture, and generally, it can only bear axial force.
Question: What role does a ball plunger play?: Answer: It is a mechanical element part that can easily and quickly locate and fix the workpiece by operating the knob or the handle to pull out or insert the pin.
