The economy-type fixture bushing is a mechanical positioning component used together with a locating pin to provide guidance. Among them, the straight cylindrical press-fit type is widely used, easy to install, and low in cost.
It can also effectively prevent rapid wear of the workpiece and is part of MISUMI's economy product line.

Compared to the m7 type, the p7 type has greater inner diameter shrinkage, so please pay attention during hole machining.

The inner diameter tolerance of the bushing is highly precise. If a vernier caliper is used for measurement, the result may be smaller than the actual value. It is recommended to use high-precision measuring instruments (such as an inside micrometer or plug gauge) for inspection.

It is recommended to regularly apply antirust oil for maintenance or choose products with surface treatment (no-electro nickel plated), which can prevent rust in normal atmospheric environments. No-electro nickel plated surface can effectively prevent rust.
Question: What tools are suitable for measuring the inner diameter of the fixture bushing?: Answer: If the inner diameter tolerance of the fixture bushing is within 0.02mm, common vernier calipers and other measuring tools with general accuracy are not suitable. It is recommended to use a high accuracy plug gauge or an internal micrometer for measurement.
Question: Will the inner diameter of the fixture bushing become smaller after installation?: Answer: It will become smaller, and p6 will shrink more than m6 and m7 after installation, so please pay attention during hole machining.
