Bushings are applied with anti-rust oil harmless to lubricants. After cleaning (recommended cleaning method: ultrasonic cleaner or white kerosene) and drying the bushings, grease application is recommended before use.

Cautions/Prohibitions of Linear Bushings

■Regular maintenance of Linear Bushings
① For grease lubrication, apply grease to the ball rows on the inner surface of the linear bushing before use, and then lubricate at appropriate times.
Grease forms an oil film on the surfaces of the steel balls and raceway surfaces (shaft bushing) of linear bushings, reducing friction and preventing seizure.
Grease loss and deterioration greatly affects the service life of linear bushings.
② Recommended lubrication grease: Lithium-based soap-based grease
③ Recommended lubrication interval: Normally every 6 months If
the mileage is long, we recommend lubrication every 3 months, and if the distance exceeds 1000km within the period, we recommend lubrication every 1000km.
④If a large moment load (unbalanced load) is applied to the linear bushing, it is not suitable to use the single type alone.
We recommend using a double type or multiple single types.

■Dust-proof measures of Linear Bushings
Please be aware that if foreign matter or dust gets inside the linear bushing, it will interfere with the circulation of the steel balls and cause an unexpected accident.
When using the product in harsh environments, attach a dustproof cover or protective cover.

■We recommend a hardened shaft with G6 tolerance for Miss Millinia Bushing.

How to Use of Linear Bushings

	If a large load (unbalanced load) is applied to the linear bushing, it is not suitable to use the single type alone. We recommend using a double type or multiple single types.
	Linear bushings are not suitable for rotational motion due to their structure. Please be careful not to force the rotation as it may cause damage.
	Linear bushings are not suitable for applications where they are repeatedly inserted and removed.
	When inserting the shaft into the linear bushing, if the shaft is inserted in a strained state, the balls may fall off or the retainer may become deformed, so please align the centers and insert it gently.

Cautions/Prohibitions

■Regular Maintenance
(1) For grease lubrication, apply grease to the ball rows within the linear bushings before use, then periodically apply grease during the use.
The grease has an effect of reducing friction by forming a layer between the balls and shaft rolling surfaces, preventing seizures.
Grease loss and deterioration will cause shorter life of linear guides.
(2) Recommended Grease: Lithium soap based grease
(3) Recommended Lubrication Intervals: Every 6 months
Recommended lubrication is that every 3 months when travel distance is extensive, or every 1000 km when travel distance exceeds 1000 km within the period.
(4) If large moment load (offset load) is to be applied, Short / Single Type Linear Bushings are not suitable.
Use of Double Type or Multiple Linear Bushings is recommended.

■Dust-Proofing Measures
Please be aware that if foreign objects or dusts get inside the linear bushing, it will interfere with the circulation of the steel balls and cause failures.
Please attach a dust cover or protection cover for harsh usage environments.

■Use of a hardened shaft with g6 tolerance is recommended for MISUMI Linear Bushings.

How to Use

	If large load (offset load) is to be applied, Single Type Linear Bushings are not suitable. Use of Double Type or Multiple Linear Bushings is recommended.
	Linear Bushings are not suitable for rotating motion due to their structure. Forcing to rotate may cause failures.
	Linear Bushings are not suitable for usage with repetitive insertion and extraction of shafts.
	When assembling with linear shafts, forcing the shaft into the bushing with angular misalignment may cause the ball retainers to deform and balls to fall out. Be sure to align the centers and insert the shaft gently.
