■ Concept of Allowable Load for Hinges
The described allowable load is for the use with 2 pieces, and it represents the mass of the door under standard usage.
The standard usage refers to when used vertically, as shown in Figure 1, with the mounting pitch of two hinges as A, and the distance from the center of the hinge's rotation axis to the door's center of gravity as B.
It serves as a guideline when installed such that A = 2 × B.
When used vertically as shown in Figure 2, regardless of the mounting pitch, the described allowable load is the maximum mass of the door. This is also the values when two hinges are used.
*The listed values are reference door mass, not guaranteed values. Please use this as a reference and make your selection taking into account your intended use.
